Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for enforcing City codes.

The goal is to educate and seek voluntary compliance with the codes before pursuing further action when property owners are noncompliant with City codes.

Persons found to be violating the City codes and regulations are notified of the violation and have an opportunity to correct the situation without further action.  Most complaints are resolved after the initial contact.

Special Magistrate

If a resolution to a violation cannot be resolved at the staff level. In that case, action by the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate might be warranted to pursue other avenues to force compliance. The Special Magistrate is empowered to hear and resolve cases brought to them by the Code Enforcement staff.

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month in the City Commission Chambers at:
Kissimmee City Hall
101 Church Street
Kissimmee, FL 34741

IMPORTANT: Due to recent changes to Florida Law, the City of Kissimmee can no longer accept anonymous code complaints. Staff will attempt to investigate all complaints; however, to file a complaint, the individual must provide their full name and street address to submit a violation. If you have any questions, please call 407.518.2133. For more detailed information, please review the Senate Bill.
