Risk Management

The Risk Management Division identifies and evaluates risk and loss exposures the City faces involving its employees, property, and citizens. The division then determines the most cost-effective means of managing risk. This team works to ensure that all potential risks and exposures associated with the City’s operations are identified and managed to utilize the most cost-effective methods available and to develop mutually agreeable and compliant solutions through education, hazard assessment, exposure mitigation, and responsible management of safety, environmental, and risk management issues.

Liability Claims

Contact our Risk Manager to report concerns, sustained property damage, or personal injury because of something the City did or did not do. Once a claim has been filed, an adjuster will investigate your claim and provide you with a written liability determination.
