Do you need to fix or replace your container for trash, recycling, or yard waste collection?

The City of Kissimmee provides trash, recycling, and yard waste containers to keep our neighborhoods clean. If your container is broken, we will try to fix or replace it.

Step 1.Confirm that your home is within City of Kissimmee limits

Although your address may say Kissimmee, you might be in unincorporated Osceola County, where trash and recycling are handled by Waste Management. Make sure you're in Kissimmee city limits before you continue.

Step 2.Check your eligibility

  • We only replace bins with unrepairable broken parts, cracks, or holes.
  • Scratched, dirty, or foul-smelling bins ARE NOT eligible for replacement.

Step 3.Request your trash, recycling, or yard waste container

If you are eligible to request a replacement container, use the button below to start the process.

On the following page, you should follow these steps to request a new container: 

  1. Under request type, choose Garbage Container Damaged/Missing
  2. Enter your address
  3. Under description, write whether your current container is broken or missing, and make sure to mention whether it is your garbage (brown), recycling (blue), or yard waste (green) container.
  4. Add an image of the damage if possible
  5. Enter your contact info
  6. If you'd like to view the status of your request, you can sign up for an account

Step 4.Receive your container

If you are eligible, our Solid Waste Division will deliver your new bin to your residence.
